Long Distance Love

When it comes to long distance, most people think phone calls and how much it will cost to call their loved one or friend. I have been in a long distance relationship for 6 months and never did I think it would become this difficult. We are roughly 1,000 miles away from each other.

At first it wasn’t so bad and I believe it was because we were still getting to know one another. Granted it’s only been 6 months, but in that short amount of time we got really close and fell in love. We’ve been to Disney World, Universal Studios and enjoyed the night life together. We’ve also enjoyed quiet times and the simple things like movies and walks.

A Dog’s Purpose

This was sent to me in an e-mail. Thanks for sharing Mom.

Being a veterinarian, I had been called to examine a ten-year-old Irish Wolfhound named Belker. The dog’s owners, Ron, his wife Lisa, and their little boy Shane, were all very attached to Belker, and they were hoping for a miracle.

I examined Belker and found he was dying of cancer. I told the family we couldn’t do anything for Belker, and offered to perform the euthanasia procedure for the old dog in their home. (more…)
