Spring
Today is the first day of spring and it decided to snow in New Jersey. This past week was so nice with decent weather (in the 50s). When I got home from work last night, I picked up the mail and remember taking a deep breath and smelling spring. Birds were chirping and the sun was breaking through the clouds.
This morning I woke up hoping for the same situation. As I’m laying in bed I look out my window and notice the sun is blocked by a set of gloomy clouds.
I get out of bed to check my iPhone for messages (it was charging across the room) and as I go to pick it up I see whiteness through the corner of my eye. I turn and see snow on the ground. SNOW! REALLY??!!
It wasn’t anything outrageous, maybe an inch and the roads weren’t covered. Nonetheless, it’s spring. I don’t think mother nature received the memo and winter had to get its last breath in.
On the upside, tomorrow is supposed to be in the mid 50s and Sunday, 60s. It’s going to be a great weekend.
Goodbye winter, hello spring!
